Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and fashion model. Apart from his Road Trip role, he has also been seen in The New Guy Hustle & Flow in addition to The Core. In addition, he has appeared in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs and Lost Law & Order as well as several others. Qualls has been fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma from the time he was 14 years old. He was able to get rid of his cancer after 2 years. Being treated at such a young stage had a negative effect on his body. It hindered his development. As he was raised in poverty, he wanted to attain financial stability. I've lived such a low-cost lifestyle for so long I have to have that financial security or my life feels beyond my control, he said in an interview. He also reminisces about his childhood to motivate him. The cruelty he experiences breaks his heart. The man says his ideal character would be dads in real and film life. He admits that Directors do not cast me in those roles. One day he'd like to become a father in the future, when he could be able to devote less time to his career and more time with his children.
